Good morning, Conscious Healers,
I am over the moon to share the relaunch of the Born to Heal Podcast with you this week!
Choosing to relaunch the Born to Heal Podcast has been a labor of love. Sharing my story out of Western Medicine and into Conscious Medicine this week on my very own podcast has been a bit vulnerable, but necessary.
Sometimes in life, we have these endings to chapters that are beautiful, clean, and effortless. It's as if a page has been turned into a new chapter, bringing completion, closure, and the cherry-on-top perfect ending to a story.
But more often than not, transitions can be confusing to the logical mind, unsettling, or fraught with uncertainty. They're not the quintessential fairytale endings we've been taught to believe they ‘should' be.
And yet, there's a magic in that.
That's what my journey out of Western medicine was like – choosing to leave at the height of my career when all of the cards were seemingly stacked in my favor, but knowing in my gut that I had to leap into the unknown and forge a new path was undeniable.
My story includes leaving a high-paying career in a well-respected medical system, turning down opportunities for advancement in my career that would have been life-changing, leaving my marriage, and the list goes on and on.
But I knew with every ounce of my being that I had to choose a new path – one that meant choosing mental uncertainty to follow a soul knowing that this was the only way forward for me.
One where I had to let courage and trust in something greater than myself take the driver's seat. For myself, my kids, my patients, and the future of medicine.
As Steve Jobs has famously said:
“You can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backward. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something – your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.”
This week on the Born To Heal Podcast, I released a series of three episodes sharing my journey out of Western Medicine and into Conscious Medicine. I hope these episodes inspire you to reflect on your own life and lean into trusting your own path – no matter how certain or uncertain it may feel in your body, mind, or soul.
In the coming weeks and months, I will take you on a journey of understanding the limitations of Western Medicine and introduce to you the foundations of what I call Conscious Medicine, laying the foundations for optimal health, well-being, and a life well lived.
Click below to listen to each of the three episodes and, if you love what you hear, please leave a rating and review, and forward the episode to a friend, family member, or someone you feel could benefit from hearing the episode.
Episode One: Why I Left Western Medicine After a Shared Death Experience
Episode Two: My Path to Integrative Oncology: Bridging Western Medicine and Holistic Health
Episode Three: Decoding the Science of Water Within Your Cells in Healing and Preventing Cancer
It helps others like yourself find the podcast and create a ripple effect of health, well-being, and vitality in the world around us.
I hope you enjoy this week's episodes!
I'll see you back here on Friday, where we will dive even deeper into the energetics of water and how to optimize your water for optimal health.
