FREE Guide “3 Things You Need to Know About Cancer That No-One Is Telling You”

Starving cancer with metabolic cancer therapy

One of the topics that has come into focus over the last few years in the treatment of cancer and chronic illness is the role that our diet plays in the growth of disease.

As many of you may know, one of the most astounding facts about medical school is that you learn virtually nothing about how diet impacts your overall health and well-being.

On top of it, the lifestyle most doctors lead lends itself to unhealthy diet and exercise practices.

While practicing as a physician in the Western Medical system, living off of a ‘vending machine diet' wasn't uncommon during long shifts where there was hardly enough time to take a break between patients and poor food quality in the cafeteria.

I developed bad dietary habits starting in medical school, where I often had to scarf down my lunch whenever I had a break because I wasn't sure when I'd have time to eat again. I worked through meals because of my workload, which perpetuated these bad eating habits, and snacked on the sugary treats well-meaning patients brought in as a ‘thank you' for the staff.

When I chose to leave Western Medicine and take a year off to recuperate, unlearn, and relearn new health and healing practices, I had to teach myself how to nourish my body from the inside out.

I knew how to eat to lose weight to look good in my clothes, but I had no idea what it meant to actually nourish my body and eat for my overall well-being.

I learned through the process that – what you feed yourself, you feed the cells in your body.

This begins with food but also spans into how we feed ourselves mentally, emotionally, and spiritually – which we'll cover in the coming weeks.

During my upcoming free workshop on March 5th- Your Roadmap to Radiant Health, you’re going to learn how to fuel and nourish your body for healing as this is one of the pillars for creating optimal health. You’ll learn all six pillars to feel your best and stay well in the long term.

With the rapid rise in health conditions, being proactive and taking control of your health is more important now than ever.

Let's dive into today's podcast episode.

If you’ve learned anything over the last few weeks on my Blog and Podcast, it’s that you have so much more power over your health than you've been led to believe. I hope today's interview with Dr. Thomas Seyfried inspires you to open your mind to how cancer grows and the profound impact diet and exercise have in starving cancer cells.

Dr. Thomas Seyfried is a renowned biology professor at Boston College and author of “Cancer as a Metabolic Disease.” In this episode, you'll discover a simple shift in your diet and metabolism that could render cancer and chronic disease powerless.

Whether you're healing through cancer or chronic illness or you want to optimize your health to stay well, this episode has valuable information for you.

Dr. Seyfried challenges the traditional view of cancer as a genetic disease. His insights into the Warburg Effect, the role of mitochondria in cancer cells, and the impact of diet are eye-opening.

During this episode, I help bridge the gap between conventional cancer treatments and metabolic therapy.  You learn about the importance of personalized treatment plans based on individual metabolic profiles and the latest research in the field.

Join this enlightening conversation that could change the way you think about cancer and chronic disease management.

GLOSSARY:

Mitochondria's primary function is to produce energy in the form of adenosine triphosphate (ATP).

Metabolic Therapy for cancer treatment involves a combination of dietary changes, possibly supplements, and in some cases, specific medications.

The Glucose Ketone Index (GKI) is a way to monitor how your body is fueling itself – whether it's mainly using sugars (glucose) or burning fats (ketones).

Again, I hope you’ll join me for the upcoming Roadmap to Radiant Health FREE Workshop on March 5th where you’ll learn how to implement these diet and movement principles to create your roadmap to lasting, optimal health.
